That too is a classic difficulty in people with APD
(APD can cause problems in both receptive and
expressive speech - if a child cannot process speech
accurately, reliably or consistently, then they will
not be able to accurately replicate it. The same
applies to locatuing the words they need from their
memory bank without the accurate sound associations to
hang them on. These difficulties can occur in children
with no difficulty in reading whatsoever).
