[senco-forum] 5 Minute Box

I recommend the "Active Literacy Kit" from the DI/now Dyslexia Action. Very
thorough and small step progressive. Once at the cvc stage you could run
Acceleread/Accelewrite or Ruth Miskin alongside.

Dear All
Does anyone have experience of using the 5 Minute Box as a Wave3 literacy
resource?? Or can recommend a similar "pick up and run with it" resource
suitable for a TA in Year 1/2?
Class teacher asked for Toe by Toe, but I think this is not really
appropriate for our young ones and also mentioned Spelling Made Easy by
Violet Brand, but I also think this is for older children?? 
Don't want an ICT? resource, but something that allows for progression
without the need for too much forward planning by support staff.
