Have you talked to the child's Occupational Therapist? They should be able to provide advice and support. Also the advisory service/learning support or whatever they are called in Norfolk should be able to provide advice and may even be able to loan you some equipment to try. Don't go out and buy anything without trying it first with the child. Ian -----Original Message----- From: senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk [mailto:senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk] On Behalf Of Mary Ross Sent: 19 September 2007 18:28 To: senco forum Subject: [senco-forum] (no subject) We have just received our first severely disabled child with CP (Yr 3). He is quadraplegic but has minimal use of his hands. He can use a touch screen with a large area to 'touch' but has little control otherwise. He cannot grip. We are 'working towards' including him in most subjects but find art more of a problem. He has an assistant at all times. Any suggestions please? Mary. Senco.
