OASIS do a very good leaflet as do the Autistic trust. Cheers Susie ________________________________ From: senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk on behalf of Mary Kelly Sent: Wed 4/2/2008 6:42 PM To: senco-forum at lists.becta.org.uk Subject: [senco-forum] Asperger's Syndrome [Scanned] Does anybody know of a very short, easy-to-read pamphlet that might encourage some parents to explore the idea that their child has AS, and not dodge or avoid the realisation please? I think these parents know it really, but are afraid that to formalise it will stigmatise the boy or damage him in some unknown way. That sounds vague, I know, but it's because the parents are not speaking freely to us. They are wary of something, but I'm not sure what it is. Any suggestions?
