[senco-forum] Fwd: [topteachers] mobiles in the classroom

I'm a parent of a secondary school student.

Despite the school having a policy where mobile phones are banned the  
majority have them in school, and use them.

Someone has previously taken a video of SEN kids and posted it on You Tube  
with some very nasty slogans added.

My child recently had his photograph taken at school and it has been posted  
on the 'photographers' Bebo site, again with some very nasty comments being 
made  by them, and others. Bullying from all angles now!

Other photographs posted by this person have clearly been taken during  
lessons, with the teacher in the background, ignoring the fact that phones are  
prohibited.

Mobile's are brilliant for safety but the 'negatives' are outweighing the  
positives, in my opinon.
