[senco-forum] Am I banned or is it quiet?

Hi Sheridan
You're not banned. I think we are all suffering from 1/2 term-itus, or
SAD or something.

I have come to a decision. After experiencing anti Angie feelings
towards me and the SEN department from the senior management at my
school for the past 3 years since new head arrived, and having my time
for Sen dropped from 2 1/2 days to 1/2 a day and my staff dropped from 3
to effectively 1 without any drop in what I am expected to do (and all
this after spending 6 years doing a MEd in special needs and dyslexia),
I have handed in my resignation. I am effectively taking early
retirement at Easter as I can't think that I would ever get a reference
from our new head. He has already refused to give one member of staff
one so I don't stand a chance.

Over the years I have received a great deal of help on many subjects and
I will always be grateful to all of you out there. From Friday (and mid
week) funnies to recipes from Ruth to the everyday problems experienced
by SENCos everywhere to the bizzar. 

If you don't mind I will stay and see what you are all doing and if I
can be of any help at any time I am more than happy.

I haven't collected my email for a few days and  I've only received a
