[senco-forum] APP

We are one of the schools involved in the trial app. I am most concerned for my pupils with special needs having their confidence knocked going through this process as well as the hours spent on it by the teachers.

Does anyone have any bright ideas about getting extra time for children who 
do not meet the critertia? Any tests anyone can suggest? So far I have looked 
at reading, comprehension,reading speed, writing speed, discrepancy between 
ability and attainment, processing speed.he trouble is they have to meet three 
of the criteria.
