WRAT 4 as already suggested has appeared to be fairly accurate, first year of using, but kept to KS4, using WRAT 3 for Yr 9 Access Arrangements with other bits However for Yr 7 - 9 I still want NC levels so use the NFER Progress maths, which can also break down into more skills than WRAT I have moved to GORT 4 for reading for speed, accuracy and comprehension for yrs 9 onwards, had to count the words per passage for reading rate per minute for Access Arrangements, but not too hard with a glass or wine in hand, Have purchased COTOP(?) but have yet to use it all as so familiar with PhaB Let us know what you go for Susie Pinder Learning Access Director Bishop Justus CE School ________________________________ From: senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk on behalf of jjones1131 at aol.com Sent: Wed 2/20/2008 5:44 PM To: senco-forum at lists.becta.org.uk Subject: [senco-forum] Assessment materials [Scanned] I have money to spend before the end of the financial year and would like to buy new assessment materials. Can colleagues recommend anything which will give an easy assessment (up to 18 yrs - sec sch,) of reading, spelling, comprehension and as well as giving percentiles, standardised scores, age equivalents and might possibly indicate NC levels for Eng? Any advice welcomed. Jo ________________________________________________________________________ AOL's new homepage has launched. Take a tour at http://info.aol.co.uk/homepage/ now.
