But
  I have been talking about this for two years but - the initial cost is high - we don't have a room we can do it in - we worry about it not working properly - we just cannot afford it.

The overhead in setting this up is pretty much the same if there are 15
candidates or only one. We expect to be providing this for 5 candidates
simultaneously on 5 March; the staffing overhead is just one invigilator in
the room with all the networked machines. Each candidate works
independently using headphones for the "reader", and writes in the paper
version of the question/answer book.

Is anybody else doing this? would be interested to swap notes if so.
