[senco-forum] Tests for children not doing the KS 2 SATs?

Why do you need a test?  At Key Stage 3, pupils who are 'below' the level of the test have a teacher assessment only.

Or do you just use a QCA test for a younger Year group - or no test at all?

We just want something that will show a level basically.
