Article: [senco-forum] Tests for children not doing the KS 2 SATs?

When we did KS2 SATs in Wales, it was possible to get tasks for children
working below L3; these were ordered by the school at the same time as the
order for that year's SATs papers went in -there was a section on the
order form for this. After several SATS-free years, I have lost track of
what is available in England, but is provision not made for this in the
same way?

Regards,

Jean

I think I remember hearing about alternative tests for children who were
> below level 3 so did not have to do the KS 2 SATs.
