[senco-forum] Role of IEPs and Provision mapping -

The Senco at the school (secondary)  I work doesn't do all the IEP targets
herself. She has the core subject teachers contribute to the IEP. They are
also expected to contribute to the IEP review. This way they  pay greater
attention to the IEP targhets in class.   

The pupils are listed with a brief profile in an SEN handbook issued to all
staff. Lesson plans also have to say how many SEN children are in each
class/group. It certainly has hightened the SEN  issue in the school.
