Article: [senco-forum] Abacus Tests

Are you referring to the maths scheme called Abacus and, more recently,
Abacus Evolve (and re-produced as Abacus Evolve Framework Edition in the
last year)? If so then these materials are actually published by Harcourt
Education, though I can't remember which 'brand' they are sold under...
Heinemann, Rigby and Ginn are all part of the Harcourt Group.

Sorry, Abacus is the name of the publishing company that produces the Abacus

Maths schemes. I have only heard about these tests as they are something
that is going to be introduced in our school. My information is that they
are levelled and that the children can sit the tests that are at the level
which is appropriate to them. I didn't know if any of you had experienced
these tests.

I'm not sure if there are any equivalent Literacy tests produced by the same

company.

Tim Rupp.
