Oh I still have regular reviews - twice a year mostly - and one of those is often a parents'; evening - and some children get reviewed more often, depending on the current problems. We have SIMS but I have no idea if you can do pupil profiles on it. I'll ask our data manager. Once the profile is done it just needs updating as the pupil progresses through the years. It isn't any more work that heading up the IEPs with all that information although I only have about 110 pupils on my list as a rule !
