[senco-forum] Maths in secondary

I wonder, what is the lowest level in maths that a child entering your secondary school has been working at. Do the children that are struggling with reading/literacy have similar problems in maths. In secondary schools if a child is working at L3 or below are they taken out in small groups or are there enough pupils at that level to cater for their needs in a class. Is any support/teaching provided by a teacher or is all support through a TA.
