No, it does not, Sharon. The handbook just says that the passage can be inspected for: 1. Type of spelling error 2. Syntactic structure 3. Fluency 4. Originality of content 5. General Level - as compared with peer group performance. "A quantitative score may be obtained by giving a maximum of 10 points and a point being subtracted for any of the following being below standard for age: Reversals Punctuation Bizarre spelling Use of capitals Motor control Use of clauses Fluency of idea Vocabulary Syntax" It is also intended to be used at Level 2 only, within the Aston Index - ie over the age of 7.
