Article: [senco-forum] run away

How much adult support are you able to give him?
When does he run away? Lesson time? Breaks? Is it that he runs out of lessons or that he can't deal with unstructured times?
And is it that he runs away from school or is it that he runs to somewhere else like home?

I'd get CAMHS involved. I'd also be looking for the LA to fund full time TA support because someone needs to be aware of where he is all the time so you can sound the alarm as soon as he runs away.

Parents are school governors and are quite supportive. I have thought
about referring to CAMhs as I think that their must be more to it than his
ADHD.
