Martin A 'cure' for dyslexics is indeed a novel idea. I have seen the same 'medical' rationale deployed by those who sought a 'cure' for homosexuality. Three of my five children, now adults, are dyslexic, two of them seriously so (Aston University substantiated) . One retired some years ago at age 29, having made a fortune in computer games - one works at a senior level in defence research. One works for a merchant bank, moving between Hong Kong, Tokyo and London. He earns a salary like the gross national product of a small country. Although their Education involved helping them to develop their defective literacy sub-skills, to this day, I am grateful that they never encountered anyone who tried to cure their dyslexia.
