Article: [senco-forum] Dyslexia and lack of time for support

So - Government research shows that pupils who are not very good at reading and writing are not very good at exams. Shock horror?
I have no doubt that some pupils who underachieve are dyslexic. I am very much concernend about the large number of diagnosed dyslexics and those we suspect of being dyslexic who aren't getting the support they need because no-one in school has TIME to given them the support they need. It often isn't lack of expertese - it is just lack of money to employ people to put in the time with pupils.
