Article: [senco-forum] Storage of files [Scanned]

I use what are called Transfer Spring files.
These are foolscap in size, are card covers and with the spring act like
a ring folder, but do fit in the suspension files of the filing cabinet.

I only use these for Statemented, or SA+ where there are lots of reports
that I want to keep in sections.

The rest are in loose square cut folders. At my previous school I had a
different colour for each year.

I have a set of card forms at the front which show relevant information
I want quickly and I update with meting sates, Interventions etc. It is
always a case of hinting the right report, however much I try and keep
them in date order, someone wants to read an it all goes out again. I
did try tagging , but you could guarantee I wanted the page in the
middle!

Susie

Subject: [senco-forum] Storage of files [Scanned]

I currently store all my SEN info for individual envelope wallets but in
a
recent inspection it was suggested that these were difficult to trawl
through.
It would be far better to have the info in some sort of ring binder with

dividers - but my problem is how to store all the files. My files
currently fit
into a filing cabinet but I suspect ring binders would be too bulky. I
would
welcome any advice. What do other people use?

Many thanks
