[senco-forum] Do you use the gym for exams ?

Hope you are feeling better Janice,I will ask the caretaker what they use in our gym on Monday.
Talking about heat and poorly ventilated gyms, I have a pupil who has a statement of SEN and she is also diabetic. She does not qualify for reader/ scribe, only extra time. As we are a small school and space is at a premium , the examination officer suggested that she does her GCSEs in the gym with the others. I am not happy with this (neither is the parent). Am I being fussy? And is it necessary to fill in extra forms and stuff for someone who has diabetes?
