Article: [senco-forum] Do you use the gym for exams ?

TES Scotland had a piece about more SEN pupils
being able to do exams on computers.

  >Exam papers go digital
Scotland is the first part of the UK to offer digital papers to exam
candidates, as an alternative to scribes and readers for pupils
requiring support.<

So presumably all these pupils could be in one room.

I wonder if they get extra time.
It takes longer to listen to text-reading software
than a normal silent reading pace.

I hope the exam setters listen to their papers.
I have only listened to a little bit of a sample,
but the heading had a Roman numeral I
which was read as the name of the capital, 'eye'.

How long will it be before this option is available
to all pupils in England who warrant a reader?
