[senco-forum] Do you use the gym for exams ?

We don't cover the floor but make all the pupils leave their shoes outside!

I was wondering - I fell flat on my face yesterday - in front of 130 SATS students and 4 teachers - in the gym because I tripped over the plastic sheeting they put on to protect the gym surface.
Battered and bruised at home today - horrid. Just glad I didn't break anything or knock myself out.
Anyway, I was wondering what do your schools put over the floor.
And also - if they are covered in similar stuff - please be careful because you could fall over too.
