Lynne, Yes, I'm in the same position. Repeated requests for transparency of AEN budget so that I can plan for the next year(s) are met with nil response. We get what we get, and I'm sure that the SEN pupils do not receive the money they are entitled to because the AEN budget goes in to the general school pot. The SEN Governor has been my best ally so far. I'd be interested to hear how other Sencos fare in this area. Certainly I have no idea how much money is available and therefore can only guess at costings for interventions. I am at the mercy of the head and governing body. They appear generous, but I am not put in a position to judge.
