Hello I know what money comes into school to pay for SEN staff and how much is spent - this is more than is paid in. I have always known this information. I get copies of the monthly 'delegated funding' budget, which is just as well as it needs to be checked for mistakes and only I can find those. I also get to speak to the Bursar. I am a staff governor as well as being the SENCO and on the SMT. Isn't this one more reason why SENCOs need to be part of SMT? We need to know this information. Could you talk to the teacher governor about your concerns as well as the SEN governor. Certainly I have no idea how much money is available and therefore can only guess at costings for interventions. I am at the mercy of the head and governing body. They appear generous, but I am not put in a position to judge. Confused of a London Borough. _________________________________________________________________ http://clk.atdmt.com/UKM/go/msnnkmgl0010000009ukm/direct/01/ Amanda Secondary SENCO Cornwall |
