[senit] recording sound

ipods/mp3 players- useful for storing sensory

Novatech.co.uk do a 512mb MP3, Recorder and storage device for £21. At 
that price David it would be worth you buying one to see how good it 
is. Friends have bought cheap MP3 players and downloaded podcasts. All 
have been fine.

further to this-use of ipods/mp3 players to record
sound- for recording everyday environmental sounds
around the school and locality-rather than voice
recording- are there cheap mp3 players that you have
used successfully for this with students with SLD?
eg the iriver range records to mp3 but is not that
cheap. so with factors such as cheapness, ease of use
for students, quality of recording-are there any
reccomendations/comments?
