Article: [senit] computer trolleys

>another 'just a thought', probably silly, but are you SURE they really need to be trolleys? We work with lots of teachers who have agreed in the end that putting the computers on ordinary tables or height adjustable tables works better as they tend to have a bigger surface (for interfaces, alternative keybards, joysticks etc.) and as they are all at a single height keep the monitor low enough for touch screen use (whereas trolleys with shelves tend to lift it too high)

>>hi we need some new computer trolleys. The budget
>>doesn't run to adjustable height trolleys at the
>>moment , but just want some trolleys for under 100
>>pounds each , that don't exclude use by students in
>>wheelchairs. the computers they are for are tower
>>systems with 17 inch cort monitors with touchscreens.
>>As they are not going to be adjustable height for that
>>price, can you reccomend any that will be reasonably
>>suitable for secondary students with SLD (large
>>variation in heights), especially to access with the
>>touchscreens and switches. Any ideas?
>>thanks
