Hi Elizabeth, Thanks for the link I currently use Mathstype but hadn't thought about my student using a mouse to type for himself (might be slow). Scientific word doesn't solve the problem for the C1 exam though as it is non-calculator and even though a graphical calculator is allowed in the later exams (and we have one with a video link to facilitate instructions to the scribe), algebraic calcuators aren't allowed and it looks as if the MUpad is too good for the exams! I think we will need to go with a scribe but I will do some tests with combined Mathstype and scribe (so the student picks the correct symbol etc without the scribe needing to know what an integral sign etc is!) It might work if I can get the exam board to agree - at least for C2 and S1.
