| Article: [senit] Request ..... | |
|
Hello Jeff and fellow SENIT members, As the message referring to the article for sale was sent to the list anyway it would seem that there is no longer any need to answer Question 2. But if your contact had written to me first I would have suggested that they visit our information page at http://lists.becta.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/senit and read the Acceptable Use policies of both Becta (our host) and SENIT in particular. There they would have discovered that SENIT is open to anyone who is interested in using ICT to support learners with special educational needs. They would have also been able to check our policy on advertising. Too late now, but maybe this advice will be helpful to anyone else who is approached by non-members in future. Please reply to voca at dial.pipex.com The original sender was vocation <vocation at dial.pipex.com> may I ask a question please 1. We are not subscribing members of your forum although we work with sen children and others every day of the week and work with schools etc. Can we be a contributor as well as a receiver? 2. We have a client who has been wrongly 'sold' a communication device and they are in need of selling it in order to raise the funds for the Dynavox device. Is this a forum that would allow us to tell the forum this device is available and then let anyone who wishes to buy it get in touch directly with our client- we do not 'sell' any products and so are only doing this to assist . Thank you and regards C Norman vocation |
