Hi I hope you have all had a good summer and are returning to work refreshed and ready for the new term. I know the details of this survey have been circulated before but this is the last chance for AAC users to have their say in what will hopefully become a very influential document. Ian Ian Butterworth ACE Centre Advisory Trust Oxford __________________________________________________________________________ Dear All, As you may know, we have now extended the Scope Communication Aids Survey until 20th September 2007. We are keen to get as many responses as possible and therefore would appreciate any efforts you could make to re-distribute this survey through your networks. Just to remind you the survey focus on the experience of communication aid provision by people who use AAC. We realise that the survey is long; however it is vital that we get the necessary data to influence and educate policy makers about the situation on the ground. The survey is available in various formats (including Word, PDF, EasyRead) at http://www.scope.org.uk/disablism/communication.shtml . This research is funded and supported by BT. We hope that you see the importance of this research and will be able to distribute it accordingly. Best Wishes, Marc Marc Bush Policy & Government Affairs Scope Phone: +44 (0)207 619 7254 Email: Marc.Bush at scope.org.uk |
