  I've tried to find info on Write online on the Crick Website but there's nothing there - I did find some mentions on the Gaurdian website that seem quite complimentary.

  Have you had a chance to look at it? or has anyone else?

I have only had a very quick look but I was impressed by the apparent build
quality and variety of ports including 3 USB2, monitor, and network plus
wireless [although I'm not sure of the speed etc]. The screen is clear
although, not surprisingly given its small size, text etc is quite small.

It certainly would make me think about buying a Neo again although the Asus
does have a lot more distractions.

I've been looking at the RM/Asus mini book. Has anyone used it. I was
thinking about using it with KS3 struggling/disaffected writers. They look
pretty cool and would have some street cred.

Is it right that you can't load any software on? I think something like a
prediction package (Cowriter/Penfriend) would be useful. Is it possible to
do this? What about battery life and the small screen?

Any advice appreciated.
