[senit] ICT skills

hi what ICT skills do you think EVERY teacher in SLD
schools should have to make appropriate materials for
students? ie a kind of baseline skill level.as a
starting point would you include basic skills in the
following on the pc , (or give the mac equivalents)
*powerpoint
*word
*smart notebook or equivalent?
*clicker
*chooseitmaker
*switchitmaker
*a symbol writer
*a graphics program such as paint shop pro?
*what about video editing eg movie maker
*audio editing eg audacity?
*itunes &/or windows media player?
*internet search & download skills
*having tried training several times I don't think you
would include web page creation?
*other?

of course some will go much further but what do the
pupils need EVERY teacher to be able to do in order to
make appropriate materials for use in the classroom?
