Article: [senit] ipods

Obviously it all depends on what you want to do with them, but if you
can I'd go for the iPod touch. You've got all the strength of the
video feature of the iPod Classic, but you also get the brilliant
touch interface (including the intuitive multi-touch features like
using two fingers to zoom). And web browsing via Wi-Fi. We got one
recently for one of our classes, and the pupils seem to find it very
easy to use.

In a way though, far more interesting than which model to go for, is
the discussion about what you're going to do with the ability to use
video, or combine visuals and sound. I'd love to hear what people are
doing with iPods in their schools, literacy work with the pupil
controlling scrubbing through the 'file', sequencing of still images
with voice overs to explain, science experiments showing 'before' and
after' that the pupil can go back over - what's everyone up to??
