Article: [senit] light and sound room

I used to have a firm come to do the same in our very small sensory room and I think they charged about £180. As we also have the county service testing all the electrical appliances once a year I realised that the only service I was really getting from the sensory room maintenance service was changing the water in the bubble tube. We now change that ourselves buying the water from the local high school and syphoning the water out ourselves.

Subject: [senit] light and sound room

Hello - we have an annual maintenance contract with Spacekraft, who
installed our light and sound room. We have just waited months for
equipment to be mended, and one day later it has gone wrong again!
(And this has happened a few times).

I'm thinking that it is not cost-effective for us to keep the
maintenance contract, but don't really know who else we could use to
look after the equipment. What do other schools do?

Best wishes
Catherine
