[senit] music software

have now started trying garage band as advised and yes
it is a great program . Would put it at about P7+
level . Anvil studio is good but at a harder level and
you need to buy a plugin to do a midi-audio mixdown.
Is there something simpler- more like 2simple music
toolkit- which accepts input from a usb midi keyboard?
