Hi Patrick There's a nice little typing tutor for visually impaired people called Talking Typer. You can download a demo from: http://www.aph.org/tech/tt_info.htm It has some features similar to Mavis Beacon touch typing, e.g., games, tests, etc but with more emphasis on text to speech. Don't be put off by the annoying introductory tune at the start! You might like to try some other demos at: http://www.aph.org/tech/index.html Have you tried 'StickyKeys' in Accessibility Options - presuming it's a PC. The Cherry G84 (or other compact keyboard) can help some one-handed users. Another alternative is the FrogPad and iFrog, a one handed keyboard. -----Original Message----- From: senit-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk [mailto:senit-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk] On Behalf Of Patrick Slowe Sent: 15 February 2007 18:08 To: senit at lists.becta.org.uk Subject: [senit] Typing tutor software for the blind?
