Simon, thanks for the bbc link, I haven't managed to listen to the podcast yet but looking through the page and responses was very interesting. I'd still have to express a concern that the fact that MS are prepared to license their DRM is of little consolation. After all, their rise to controlling dominance was based entirely on a business model of licensing product, and as we know our very own Becta has raised serious concerns about the tight grip Microsoft get on school finances through this. It's good to see it all getting an airing though, and the consultation is out there for all of us to put our views to the BBC.
