Jeff, I got this;

REMOVING BARRIERS TO INCLUSION

A seminar to discuss developments in Becta’s approach
to SEN and Inclusion - Friday 12 January 2007 – Royal
Garden Hotel, London .

Just a quick note to follow up the original invitation
that I sent to you last year.

If you are intending to come to this seminar could you
please let me know by Monday 8th January at the latest
as we need to confirm numbers for catering?

When planning the future of Becta’s work on SEN and
Inclusion Christine Vincent , the director with
responsibility for Inclusion, made a commitment to
meet with a group of interested parties in January
2007 to discuss progress in this area.

We would therefore like to invite you to a meeting
scheduled to take place during BETT week, to update
you and to give you an opportunity to discuss the
following developments:

• Becta’s new Inclusion strategy

• Embedding SEN & Inclusion in current programmes
of work

• Specific SEN and Inclusion activity

• Future plans

The meeting will take place on Friday 12 January at
the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington High Street
[www.royalgdn.co.uk], London commencing at 11.00 am
and concluding with a light lunch at 12.30 pm. This
should allow plenty of time to visit the BETT show
during the afternoon if you wish.

I do hope you are able to join us – please confirm
your attendance by email to
tricia.jenkins at becta.org.uk
