The ACE Centre Advisory Trust. is currently involved in a ground breaking 
project examining the benefits of Eye Gaze Technology for those with severe 
physical disabilities, such as cerebral palsy, ALS (Motor Neuron Disease), 
Stroke and Spinal Injury.

The COGAIN project is a 5 year European project that we are currently half 
way through. Therefore I am extremely excited that, at this point, with 
more and more people becoming aware of Eye Gaze in the UK, the COGAIN 
annual Camp is taking place at DeMontfort University, Leicester, on Tuesday 
4th September 2007. I would like to invite as many local and national 
centres interested in, and users who could potentially benefit from, Eye 
gaze technology as I can.

I feel that having an independent view on this (being separate from those 
selling the systems), we are offering a unique opportunity to give unbiased 
and researched opinions about the benefits and limitations to the 
systems.  This is an opportunity for people to find out more.

An explanatory letter and a poster for the event are available on the ACE 
Centre website.

The day will also include a number of presentations given by those already 
using the systems and hopefully some members of their families discussing 
the impact of these systems on their lives.
