Can't say I've looked at the 600i, but the earlier 2000i didn't hold  
a candle to the brightness and sharpness of a plasma screen.

I'm guessing you mean an LCD TV? As you say, these have dropped  
markedly in price, and since you can get a really good sized one of  
about 42" for about £1,000 (I'm told, sadly haven't got my own to  
quote accurately!) they do seem a good bet for adding the  
touchoverlay. We got our overlays along with screens from Interactive  
Technologies, based in Didcot, and they were able to manufacture to  
fit, so I can't see any reason why they couldn't make something to  
suit any LCD.
