Sent: 08 June 2007 23:18 To: senit at lists.becta.org.uk Subject: RE: [senit] AbilityNet YouTube update I'm not sure how useful this is to the list members but if you come across a YouTube video and would like to download it to your hard drive, then this is an easy way to do it: Simply select the video to download and insert the word 'kiss' in the URL. For example, the URL for the YouTube Guided Tour is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcZ-bAZtC34&feature=dir To download the video type 'kiss' immediately before Youtube, similar to this: http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=dcZ-bAZtC34&feature=dir When the download page appears scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see the download link. If you want to convert the FLV file to another format visit http://vixy.net/ a free online converter. Bingo! No need to download third part software.
