Biggest + for the plasma is better access. Rear projection does not move up and down so easily and we find ours difficult to get wheelchairs up to, it doesnt go so low either. Also is you move the back projection around, you can knock the mirrors, blow a bulb etc. As the plasma is an overlay it can move a little but definatly more robust Also it takes less space. I would choose plasma over back projection any time, and we have both in school.
