[senit] ican animate questions

In ican animate can you get the isight built-in camera to record short clips
rather than 1 frame at a time ? I have a student who wants to make a weather
forecast and I see that Ican animate has chromakey.

Is it possible to download / import video clips (e.g avi) into ican animate
(e.g someone doing a weather forecast recorded on an external video camera)
then use the chromakey function in ican animate to delete the bg in
preparation for e.g weather map bg.

We have a video camera that can download to the mac via a usb cable but I
wanted to hook it up to make animations directly in ican animate or imovie
on a copystand so it would be good to be able to record each frame directly
into ican animate by using the external video camera rather than the
in-built one. When you go into the settings only the isight camera is listed
though (when the other camera is connected to the usb post). Would using a
dv cable make this work ?
