Article: [senit] Re: voice activated software

Hi
You are talking about the Sound Beginnings series from Semerc which uses sound input via a microphone to control and complete a variety of activities - using just voice input to actual words as commands (action words, numbers, colours). All Semerc software in the past two years has included use of sound as an accessibility option within the switch options. Which means that anyone who can make an utterance can access our programs. Semerc titles still available through Sherston software but - unfortunately - no new publishing is planned and the 'old' Semerc team is now no more.

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but there used to be
some software where you changed the pitch of your voice to make a
character move up and down on the screen. I think it was from Granada
Learning/SEMERC.

Hi
Does anyone know of any cause and effect software that is activated by
the user making a noise into a microphone?
