David is absolutely correct in his recommendation of Switchit! Maker 2.
Three years after leaving Priory Woods, I still receive about 4 emails a week from colleagues who have made videos in either Microsoft Movie Maker, Photostory or with the Digital Movie creator and want to make them switch accessible. SwitchIt Maker 2 will enable you to do this quickly and easily without the need for any programming experience. As David points out I did write a short article explaining how to do this for the Priory Woods web site. I also added some example files and training resources you can download to get you started.

Interestingly, I recently took part in a project at Priory Woods where we used SwitchIt Maker 2 to help the children edit their own video creations.
