hi , the Preschool AAC checklist (Henderson)gives
Emergent Writing levels as
1.Uses Picture Symbols to answer questions
2.Writes a sentence using picture symbols
3.Writes a story Using symbols
4.Can copy a word from board using AAC device
5.Can copy sentence from board using AAC device

looking at levels 1-3 can anyone suggest a finer
breakdown or say what activities they do at levels 1-3
for emergent writing (rather than for direct
communication)
