This might be a solution (combined with keyboard accessibility tweaks?)... I'm not sure where i got it though... sorry... I can probably dig out the email/CD if needed... He can't use the keyboard without the guard as he presses every key on the way to the one he wants. I've tried him with an on-screen keyboard but that's even slower than his typing.
