Hi David, The Sherston Phonic Clip Art cd-rom - http://shop.sherston.com/ipw/default.aspx?prodid=32 has sound clips to accompany all the pictures on the disc (900 apparently), as well as all the individual phoneme sounds. But as it is focused on phonics, these tend to be cvc, cvvc, ccvc and cvcc words predominantly, rather than high frequency words - so maybe not what you are after. I can't remember if they are wav or mp3 format off the top of my head, but I think they are the former. It's a recommended resource, all the same!
