The Slavonic Abacus will be of interest to any maths teacher working with pupils who may have strong visual-spatial skills, possibly dyslexic. It's the unusual form of bead colouring that makes it easier to grasp numbers. The conference will consider the relationship between dyslexia and related learning difficulties from the perspectives of research and practice.
