Mini Slavonic Abacus:

To accompany the larger version, we now have a 6" version of this ancient
example of IT.  The Slavonic Abacus will be of interest to any maths teacher
working with pupils who may have strong visual-spatial skills, possibly
dyslexic.  It's the unusual form of bead colouring that makes it easier to

7th International Conference of the British Dyslexia Association

 

Dyslexia: Making Links

The British Dyslexia Association is pleased to announce that registration
for their 7th International Conference Dyslexia: Making Links, to be chaired
by Professor Margaret Snowling is now open.

 

The conference will consider the relationship between dyslexia and related
learning difficulties from the perspectives of research and practice.
