Have a look at Efofex software from Australia for maths and chemistry 
equations, graphs etc.  Very easy to use and for disabled students - free!

For diagrams we have been using Smartdraw for some time not but it is 
getting over complicated and expensive.   Simpler alternatives would be useful.
